Subject: CNN Poll TODAY on Rebuilding WTC

(A few of you are new to my list of Twin Towers
rebuilding supporters...I always immediately honor
requests to be removed from the list!)

CNN has a "Quick Vote" poll TODAY on "What should be done with
Ground Zero?" and three choices,"Make it a Memorial","Rebuild",
and "Rebuild with a Memorial".

The voting bullet starts by default in the "Make it a memorial",
but the hundred thousand plus votes cast last time I checked had
that option last with 12%..."rebuild" had 15%" and "rebuild with
a memorial" an overwhelming 72% of responses!

Neither "rebuild" option specified bringing the Twin Towers back
or not,but they have seven out of eight votes between them,if the
Towers lead lesser-rebuilders by only a 4-3 margin we have half
of the voters.

We need as many of the people there to be rebuilding supporters
as possible...it's first-come first-served,and despite the name
they ARE taking out-of-towners...a mailing list member from
Virginia was accepted yesterday.

We can't let the anti-rebuilders out-mobilize us!

I've had good contact with pro-streetcar people,who were
ignored by the Whitehead and Civic Alliance plans just as
the Twin Towers interests were.I hope we can assemble and
publicize a better Lower Manhattan plan than hitherto offered!
