I acknowledge again some more email addresses sent by
Erik Sieb of newwtcproject.com...I note that anyone who
asks to be removed from this email list is always removed
at once as long as I know what address needs removal...I
have received a few requests from addresses NOT ON the list.

Tomorrow is the start of the http://dialogues.listeningtothecity.org/
Online Dialogues...PLEASE...EVERYONE WHO WAS NOT AT LTTC II SHOULD
REGISTER AND PARTICIPATE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!...you have two weeks
to complete the various discussions on the web,we need more people
to move the height of new buildings UP the priority list,above
mixed-use-human-scale-ism,above carving the superblock up with crowded
streets,and above leaving the footprints as empty as ordered by bin Laden.

NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE,try to register and see if you're accepted.
I note that some people at NYCS apparently registered with their
online handles,I don't know if that will result in later rejection.
Every voice in favor of reconstruction at the WTC site to at least
the former height needs to be heard,whatever the details of the
form you favor.

New Jersey Governor McGreevey,according to today's New York Times,
has arranged that a hearing will be held in New Jersey in late August.
Details on this will be passed on as available.

Any more volunteers to man petition/literature tables outside the
Federal Hall exhibit?

Don't forget the New York Post invitation for commentaries
on what should be built...150 word limit and "no poems"...

Tom Auchterlonie pointed out that the Team Twin Towers site has a
photo of Randy Warner with John Whitehead and Derek Turner of WTC2002.
Now if Whitehead would only listen to the pro-Towers voices!

Is "Niteowl" of the NYCS board a member of this list?
He was asking why the WTC was never landmarked,it was destroyed
just before reaching the 30-year minimum age needed for landmarking.
(Mind you,it took the Park Row Building a HUNDRED years!)
