It would be appropriate to a ship of historic size by modern standards, but,as I say on my Titanic reconstruction page and with all due respect to Nic Wilson,not appropriate to a ship of Olympic-class size now. (Huard also seems to be considering it for a clone of Britannic).
Subsequent sisters to such a ship could bear names with "Gigantic" as a modifier(e.g. Gigantic Prince) or use synonyms(e.g. Behemoth).
If these names prove unavailable or inadvisable(hopefully the planned Titanic spoof movie called "Gigantic" will be a forgotten flop before the ship is launched,if indeed it reaches release...on the other hand, perhaps Nic will wind up building his ship) something else of appropriate dignity can doubtless be arranged.
